When I bought my '88 4Runner SR5 a couple months back, the radio was mounted in a block of wood that was screwed to the dash. I figured out it was because he was missing the brackets that hold the radio to the side support mounts. Does anyone know where I can get those brackets? I ordered what I thought was it off eBay, but it turned out to be the big side supports that I already have, so I don't want to order the wrong thing again and have to wait longer to install my switches. I also got the 6 switch panel from paranoid fab that mounts under a single din radio.
Yeah, I'm looking for the brackets that attach to the radio and to the support brackets. That's exactly what I'm looking for. I don't know why I couldn't find them online, I guess I was searching the wrong thing. You know of anywhere cheaper than $25-30? Or is that about what I'll have to pay for them?
I can't think of any other website or store for cheaper (unless someone posts them cheaper). You can always try the local junkyard. These trucks seem to get picked over pretty well before I get to them though. Wyoming9 said he might have a pair...
