Mazda Rims...

Before you yell search, I already did and found info on Nissan rims haha.

My neighbor has a set of 4 AR wagon wheel rims off a Mazda B2200 with 1/2 tread Mud King A/T's. He will sell them to me for 75 bucks, rims and tires. 235/75R15 for my 89 pickup.

Will it work? If so, how much will have to be ground off to fit on the Toyota hub? Is it even the same bolt pattern?

Not sure, but if it's your neighbor why not just pull one of your wheels off and see if it fits...?

Offhand, I couldn't tell you. I have seen Mazda trucks with 6 lugs.....just not sure on the hub.

Anyway, that's what I'd do....go look at 'em.

maybe, I know its 6 lug, and I recalled reading somewhere that they are the same spacing, just different hub sizes.

and I would love nothing more than to try them on, but my build up thread, yeah, that parts truck has been in my driveway for a month and I just found a few hours tonight to remove the cab. I swapped out that rear end about a month ago as well, and I still have mismatching rims and tires because I don't have time to pull off rims and put on other ones. I only have an old fashioned lug wrench, no impact, no nothin'.

haha, that and my mom bought a house, which we started the extensive remodel project on this past week. I work 8-4, then go straight to the house and work 4-9,10,11. my front differential still isn't fully attached, my skid plate is sitting in the garage, my broken bench seat, which is held in by four bolts, hasn't been swapped out... It comes all down to time for me... and I'm out of it! haha, but I always make time for my YT family!

I can guarantee that Mazda made a six lug rim, we owned one before and my friend owns one currently. they are pre-Ford though, as is the vehicle these rims come off of.

Jee'm'peez, Clint...you sound as busy as me...

Yeah....there's a blue one that roams around in the town north of me. I see it all the time and it has six lugs. Seems I saw a similar one a month or two ago for sale, also. It had some nifty, black AR rims and big ars tires stuffed all the way up into the wheel well....lol!

Try tirerack.com. Find aftermarket wheels that fit the Mazda and compare the wheel data to the Toyota wheels. Lots of the 6 lug wheels fit our trucks.

off topic for a second, and flame me all you want, but I wouldn't mind owning a pre-Ford Mazda pickup. B2600i would be amazing...

Mazda 6 bolts will work, I have interchanged my 2600 4x4 and yota pickup tires many times, tha mazda hubs are also very large. I believe only the 2600 were 6 bolt 4x4 though.

YES, pre ford mazda truck are almost as good as the yota's(well a far second), the 2600 fuel injected was a strong little motor, my father in law has 330k on his.

There really was no "pre-Ford" when it comes to their passenger cars and trucks. Even my '86 Mercury Lynx had a Mazda engine stuck in it.

The rotaries don't count .

You're somewhat right, but the pre 94 truck are 100% JAPANESE. At first ford used mazda stuff but then they just tookover and re"engineered" the line up.

well, I know these are six lug for sure, his was a 4x4, so it'd have to be a 2600. did you have to modify the hubs on the rims at all to interchange them? thats what I am most interested in finding out.
