Have replaced the mass air meter 4 times wirh a Cardone Reman unit. It runs great for a couple of months then just dies. It appears the the air meter is cutting fuel pump off. Do I need to replace with a new unit instead of reman unit? This is getting very frustrating. Any ideas from the gurus here?

 

If you've replaced the part 4 times and the problem still persists, then the part you replaced 4 times trying to fix it most likely isn't the real cause of the problem(and it probably wasn't broke to begin with). Replacing it 2 times was enough to figure that out. Don't take a guru to tell you that...

 

It appears that something is happening to the replacement units. A check with ohm meter before installation checks in spec and after the the problem the air meter checks bad. Two of the four I received checked bad prior to installation. I am wondering if the reman units are the problem.
