Mass Air Flow Sensor

Hi all Healthy New Year to you all! I was cleaning the MAS on my 2008 4Runner and was wondering if there was one on my 1987 Toyota Pickup? I don’t see any mention of it in the Haynes repair book. Just want to verify if the is or isn’t. By the way it’s a 22re 4cylinder with EFI
Thanks

No, you don't.

Just so you know, all fuel injected engines have some sort of Air Flow Meter. Your '87 has a Volume Air Flow meter (VAF, sometimes called a Vane Air Flow meter). Different technology than a Mass Air Flow meter. (I don't know whether you have a MAF on your '08, but if you have the manual, you should be able to tell.)
