My bumper will be here on friday, then going to Jeremy for powdercoating and hopefully I should have it on by the following weekend. I'll post up pics once I get it on.

I guess your keeping the bumper afterall Phillip. I wouldn't mind seeing it before you put it on and placing it up to my truck so I can see if I want to buy one also.

Would that be possible?

Yup, that's "stock". What you can't see on my pic is that the face of the hitch is "slashed" at a ~45deg angle. So when compared to the stock bumper and stock hitch, the difference in ground clearance is enormous:

GV27: How hard is it to get the crank in there for cranking your spare up and down?

Yeah, I don't have intentions on getting rid of it but you never know.. I could put it on and hate it.

Sure thing though. Jeremy is going to have it until it gets powdercoated but once I get it back you can come by so we can hold it up to your truck.

It's absolutely no problem at all. It's a straight shot.

Thanks! I'm real tempted now. Anyone want a 4-year-old, slightly beat-up, Smittybilt rear bumper with a class 2 or 3 receiver hitch on it (200/2000 lbs)???

Mine arrived yesterday, about 9 days from order to receive on the east coast.
I am starting prepping/painting tomorrow, the bumper looks really nice, impressive fab work.

Make sure you post up some pictures at leaast of the completed product and on the Runner as well.

How come there aren't any pictures of truck owners with this bumper? Something I need to know about it?

Anyone tried running this bumper with the stock rear mud flaps? I like to put mine on in the winter to minimize the splashing, sand, salt, etc. Take them off in the spring when I put on the 32x11.50x15's on for rock crawling season.

TIA!

What would you sell it for? I'm in Louisville.

I need to make sure that the Marlin bumper will meet my needs first (mud flaps). Had another inquiry about it via PM.

Not sure on your '86. On my '92 the mudflaps attach mainly to the stock bumper, so no way that was going to work. Have been thinking about making some new ones, though.......
