Question Manual Transmission Front Seal Leak. Will Leak Stop Work?

I have a 1994 Toyota truck w/ a 5 speed manual that the front seal is leaking. Is there an additive or stop leak you can add to the oil to temporarily fix the problem? I just got rear ended the other day and my neck an back are messed up so I will not be able to pull the tranny right now.

Suggestions please...........

If its not leaking that bad, just be sure to keep it full of fluid, untill your able to pull the tranny and fix the leak. I recomend staying away from anykind of stop leak.

I agree. I had the same thing on my truck and let it go for a while then my clutch was screwed because the oil gets on the plate. I would just drive until you can pull the trans. Don't be surprised if you have to put a new fiber clutch plate in though.

It is pretty bad. What about something like “barsleak for oil”? I think the viscosity of the transmission fluid would screw with stuff.
