Manual trans conversion

Manual trans conversion
I have a 91 extra cab 4x4 pickup with a 3.0 automatic... I want to swap out the auto for a manual. My question is will all manual V6 trans fit between 89 and 95? My thoughts are finding a cheap 4runner and swaping the trans and all to my truck and have the driveshaft modified. Has anyone done this swap from 4runner to pickup?

Yes, I have.
I was lucky to find the itern shaft, But I may in time get a one peace made.
Note, Don't forget the hydraulic hardline from the master cylinder that goes over the engine.
If you do not pull the whole engine harness from the donor vehicle, Cut the two plugs from the manual harness that go to the revers and transfercase switches with at least 6" or more of extra wire.
Having a 91 you most likely have the cable driven speed gauge, 92 and later 4Runners and PU have electric.
89-95 PU and 90-95 4R.
