This 5 speed swap has been a long process with school and working etc. but anyways I wanted to see if i could get a confirmation that i got everything before i tear into it thiss weekend... Again my trucks an 87 4 cyl xcab and i gotz:
w56 tranny and xcase
Bud built crossmember
Flywheel and the flywheel bolts

I need hard clutch lines right? Then i can drop that wussimatic and bolt up everything... Just wanna make sure im not opening a can of worms this weekend missing something major.. Thanks

measure the length of your auto tranny from bellhousing to drive flange. Then measure the manual. if there is a difference, you will need to get a new driveshaft for it, or buy spacers for your current one. most likely the manual tranny/transfercase is going to be shorter.

get the clutch lines from any 5 speed toyota truck, hardline from the master cylinder over to the passenger side firewall, then about 1 foot or so of soft line, then hard line again down to the slave cylinder.

starters are the same

The starter is the same, but you will also need a pilot bearing and theclutch hard line.

IIRC you need the d-shaft from the manual truck. They are different lengths..

I got a thread about swaping to manual.

Wiring is the biggest pita to get everything to light up again correctly and the starter safety junk bypassed.
