I'm guessing this is for one of your 93's with v6's? Pretty sure this cat is meant for something like my old 83 I had. Not sure what function it really had, seeing as it was carbureted, but there was some sensor/probe that went into the back end of the cat about where the hole for the sensor is in the picture.

Pretty sure if the sensor fit there, it would tell your computer you're running quite lean, as the sensor is supposed to read the afr before the cat, not in it.

 

can somebody steer me in the right direction then please. engine is going in next weekend with thorley headers and has a magnaflow exhaust already. just not a high flow cat. thank you.
