My gear selecter on my 4runner really loose is there anyway i can cover off and fix it.

 

Yes, but you have to carefully cut the wires that go to the overdrive button in such a way that you can splice them back later.

Yea i want the on, but i thought i would have to take it off to fix it.
Is it a loose bolt or just something worn out.
