So let me ask you this then. WHEN i get my manual hubs, would the front LSD still activate when speeding around corners even though they are not locked? and even so, price still comes into play. and anyway, if you can drive a 91 F250 in a small town, then a LSD up front should not be a problem.

If the hubs are unlocked, then the front drive train does not turn at all. The wheels are uncoupled at the wheel end of the CV shaft. Thus, your LSD would not do anything.

4crawler's site says that that when you are on the gas with a Truetrac, it understeers, when you are off the gas, it oversteers. My Aussie doesn't do that at all.

right but it is HIGHLY unlikely i will ever want to turn AND put my foot on the gas WHILE having my hubs locked. But i do appreciate your concern and information. but until the Canadian government sends me my $2k i'm stuck with $400 for either gears or winch. and it looks like a winch within the next week or 2.

I have brand new gears for my 88 V6 4runner. Will these fit in an e-locker rear from a late model 4runner or Tacoma? Going the e-locker route and hope not have to buy a new set of gears....

TIA!
