looking at 94 runner - what is fair for this one?

are you kidding? They want way too much for that. Those few tastefully added mods wouldn't be worth the price. That rig bluebooks at like four grand or so. Throw in a grands worth of tasetful mods. I would never pay more than five for it. I got my teched out 94 for five grand and it has everything.

If it had a 3.4 swap in it maybe 6 G's, But for a 3.slow, don't bother. That is unless you like to gamble your money away.

NO WAY. I hate it when people put their 1994 4runners for sale for Like $9000. Thats like twice as much as its worth. Unless that thing has like less than 10,000 miles and has like $15,000 hidden in the back of it somewhere, I wouldn't even think about it. $8900 is just rediculous. And those "mods" add little, if any value to the selling price, remember, you are buying the car, not the parts.

Those "mods" are simply normal maintenance. I'd say 5500 tops. For 8900 you could get a really nice 3rd gen with a locker.

It doesn't even come with a hitch... for that kind of money, it should at least come with a hitch, and a boat attatched to the hitch. And, sorry 1994 4Runners did not come with a factory subwoofer, so I'm not real sure how they installed a sub in stock locations. They brag about doing all their maintenance, too. And to top it all off, they tease you with the satellite radio...with no subscription, so it might as well not even have it at all.

Have to agree

I got my 1992 for 4K with 125K miles on it. Granted I sunk $1K into it right off for fixes, but still 5K for one in good shape.
I agree with all the other postings, you could get a 3rd gen for that kind of money, I see them around here for 7-10K with less miles on them. Next purchase for myself....

Maybe if it had a SAS, lift, 35's, locker and gears! I'd say it's worth $5k tops, maybe $5500 if those are rare in that area. They're all over the place here in Cali, I never see 2nd gens asking for more than $6k, and that includes low mileage 95's.

WOW. Thats way high. I paid 3k for my 95 4 years ago with 154k on it. With a clifford alarm and aprox. a $1500.00 stereo, new tires.
I can get you a nice 96 up for that price with the 3.4.

Here's an example

Thanks guys....... I would say somewhere between 5K to 6.5K sounds like what this would go for. Will keep this in mind in negotiations.

I'm thinking $5K, but only if it's in really good condition.

have a mechanic check it out... spend some time crawling around under it...

if the mechancials check out as nice as the rest of it... for a low mile 94 like that

(in my area)

6500 tops
6000 is ok
5800 should be reasonable
5500 be happy
5000 run to the bank!
