looking at 15x10 wheels i need to know backspacing

i ordering some 15x10 steel wheels for my 90 pickup. what is the backspacing that i need. the tires are 31x12.50x15 if that helps. i was thinking 4" anyone?

4.75" is stock
with 4" and lower you might run into rubbing issues

i had 15x10 with 4" bs on my 01 tacoma. i was runnning 33x12.5 with about 5
" of lift. i didnt rub on anything

i can cut the lower valance...no problem. i do have alot of clearance now with the 30x9.50 tires. what do u think??

Without a body lift and no body mods and that backspacing, 31's would be about as tall as you could go without rubbing.

I'm a tad confused, though. Your avatar shows the truck with different rims than those stock 6in'ers. What gives?

ok well for those that seem to be comfused..... the avitar is not mine. good looking truck though. the pics are the ones of my truck. the question is not if 31" tires can fit, its the back spacing and if the wide tires can clear

You might be able to pull it off.
Valance might have to go or just be trimmed, but im more worried about the front fenders.

If you are not afraid of trimming then go for it The sawzall will make it fit

In that case, I don't think you will have any problems other than the valance...which is of course easily removed. Mine is for the time being.

imma remove the valance and take the caps off of the bumper...kinda prerunner style and hack the fenders. maybe a little crank will work too who knows. im going to get longer shackles to level it in the rear

my DD wheels are 15x10 with a 33x12.5 tire and its just fine. my wheelin wheels are 15x8 with a 33x12.5 tire and THOSE are just fine. i think they both work. i rarely put my wheelin set on anymore to go wheelin
