the online fsm and the book fsm are the same thing correct?

i have had problems with the red hoses due to early failure but maybe that was the brands issue.

good find on the books my buddies old turbo runner was a PITA trying to get specs for it.

It seriously depends on the brand. There's ty silicone you buy at NAPA, and there's the good stuff. My Supra used to use this exact hose, even running beside my downpipe, it wouldn't melt, or get brittle. It's awesome. Plus, it's soooo stretchy, and is always flexible. I usually do black silicone on all my cars now. 10x easier to work with.
