That does seem like an excessive amount of play...

Im not sure if they are supposed to have that much play but both my runners ,add and manual both move like that.

I just went out and checked them .
So If you have a problem I do too.

I agree that looks like a lot of play. As for why... I don't know. From what I remember, my 88 (non-add) didn't have any play in the tube when I installed the lift kit / diff drop bracketry. Isn't there a bushing / mount at the end of that tube where the inner CV joint is?

Thanks Abe.... for embedding that video in the post......I just figured out how to do that instead of using a link to it

I agree that their is excessive play in that area and from what I really don't know either, so maybe someone will help out on understanding if this is normal or not.....

RMA...thanks for the reply.....you say that yours move like too? if so I think maybe it supposed to be that way......I only have the play on the passenger side, and hardly none on the drivers side....I guess I noticed it yesterday
