the limits of your truck

OK, i want to hear all about the limits of your toyota. Tell me that it never has broke, even though your running 35's on your IFS and are locked front and rear, and have been through the hardests trails that exist.. Or you can tell me how you took your solid axle yota and shatterd your ring and pinion on the first hill you tried, and you were only running 31" A/T's. Or anything in between.. Good luck, and if any body ever talks trash about you not having a bunch of mods, just say, I dont need mods I wheel a toyota

Its limits? about 145-155 km/hr...

My relitivly unmodded yota has taken me through the bush on dozens of hunting trips into the wilderness of alaska. I just cant picture many other stock vehicles that can do that.

heres the only things that have broken on my 4runner in goin on 14 years.
water pump (overheated)
u-joint
air conditioning hose
1 windshield

I know that a birfield will break when you try to push over a 12" thick tree (on accident) with the wheels cranked and pedal to the floor!

Thats what happens when you have a Jeep guy for a spotter

Mine is limited solely by the amount of body damage I wish to take. Nothing more.

Up until this point, my truck has only been limited by my pucker meter.

I am very confident that I have taken this truck nowhere near it's limits.

And as Isaac alluded to, there's only so much damage I am willing to inflict on my daily driver. If it was a trail rig, it may be a different story.

I had an 86 toyota that i thrashed, built into a pre runner broke 3 sets of leaf springs bent 2 A-arms and broke a torsion bar mount, not to mention it took 260,000 mile to put a hole in the water jacket in the head, 75 mph through a dessert will do crazy things to a truck. Then i tried to turn it into a rock crawler, took off the bed. first time out on the rock i shatterd a halfshaft and sold the truck the next day.. i had to have another one though.

Nasty side hills... that's the only "limit" that I can really speak of. Blew up a t-case but other than that she's been solid. I even ran 38.5's for a while with stock birfs but was careful with the wheel cranked and didn't have a problem. What kind of info are you looking for? (Little repairs like timing chain, water pump and tune up crap as well).
