Lights Out

I've got a '91 4Runner with almost everything operational-- except for the lighting behind the AC/Heater controls and the shift tower-- is this just bulbs I need to replace, or is it something worse? If bulbs, what size? Thanks for any info.

It is one bulb, not sure what size. It is plugged in with a socket similar to christmas tree light sockets. Mine turned out to be the contacts in the socket being loose, as it would go on and off. Yours might be the socket or the bulb. I just ripped mine out and put blue LED's behind mine.
