Light Mounting, Keep stock look on a 93 truck

Hey guys,

First time poster, I recently picked up two KC Daylighters off CL for a good deal, I want to put them on my rig but I am so hesitant to compromise the "stock look". I've seen a pic with the stock bumper with two lights mounted on to it via some sort of tabs it looks like, has anyone had experince with this/seen this done? The depth of the lights is too deep to bolt directly onto the stock bumper so I have to get a little custom... My truck is a 93 single cab BTW.

thanks in advance...

It's gonna be hard to do as we don't have much room for any lights at all, I have seen some kc slims look ok mounted on top of the bumper but really not much else will fit without a bar of some sort, here is what I did it was a pain but well worth it

Thanks for the reply, I really like the look of yours. was it worth it in your opinion? I was thinking I would probably be able to fab up some little tabs to bolt on somewhere, then attach the lights to that... still at the drawing board.

Yes, just fog lights, I attached the lights to the lower radiator bracket so they really aren't attached to the valance at all as it wouldn't be that sturdy.

But I had them mounted by the license plate before I re-did the valance. It was Ok but I hated how far the lights stuck out from the bumper.

This is the only older pic I have but you can see them sticking out way further before they got flushed in.
