hey all, new toyota owner and forum member. i know there have been many threads among the same topic but I'm having trouble finding a pre runner style light bar for my truck now a days. I've look up pro comp and n-fab who's products are really nice but none seem to date back this far. and as far as application and mounting goes id like to not drill into my bumper as I've seen some bars with that setup and would like to keep as much rust away as possible. and insight is much appreciated, thanks again.

your best bet would be to find a fab shop and go custom. every mass produced "prerunner" style bumper for these trucks that i have seen, required holes to be drilled in the factory bumper. they also offer ZERO additional strength and are pretty much just for looks.

 

yeah i like the look of this style of bar and have no problem with "just for looks". i work at a fab shop and just picked up an nfab light bar from an uncle of mine who had it laying in the shed. the mounts on the bar are two narrow so a little bit of custom work and should be alright.
