Lifting 2wd
Hi,
I am trying to lift the front end of my 1994 Toyota pickup 2wd about 2 inches because I did an add a leaf. I have the torsion bars cranked up all the way, and have ball joint spacers but still need the front end up more. The rear from the floor to the fender though the center of the tire is 32 inches on both sides and the front is 31 on both as well, any suggestions? Thanks anytging is well appreciated.

I’m confused as to what you’re trying to achieve. How much lift do you currently have? Why do you need more lift? You say the front is 1” shorter than the rear, yet you want to lift the front 2”. Do you want the front higher? What size tires are you running?

Find a pair of lift spindles and let the torsion bars down. I know that rides like crap and you will probably still get tire rub on the inner fender by the doors without a small body lift. I know mine did.
There was a company called custom tube worx (or something like that) that still made them using stock spindles. They weren't cheap but they are the only option unless you find a pair of old fabtech ones.
