Lift rear

Hey I have a 87' Pickup, 2 wheel drive and I was wondering how I could go about lifting the rear of the truck an inch or two. Any ideas?
Thanks

I"m putting coils in the rear of my 86 pickup and looking at 2 inches of lift when it's done.

Mine is a 4x4 although I don't think that really matters.

Are you putting coils in addition to the leafs?
The 2wd were spring under I believe

yeah 2wd are spring under.. blocks would lower you. i would say go add a leaf but for a better ride you may want a shackle lift
if your gonna be hauling heavy loads go add a leaf
if weights not a concern and you want a smoother ride go shackles

Yeah I got my ZUK mounts today and will be putting some 14" coils in between the spring pack and the frame.

I didn't know the 2wd's were spring under so my NEW advice is either a shackle lift or an add a leaf.

Crap that's a good idea. The lift may be more like 4 inches but that's still really a good idea. Hell we used to do this on Scouts to clear 35's..... why didn't I think of posting this? Must be getting old.
