Lift or no lift?
I just picked up 32x11.5 R15 BFG Mud Terrains for my stock 88 Toyota 4x4 pickup. I also got Rock Crawler Rims 15x10. Do I need to lift the truck? So far I've read on 4 Crawler.com that they will fit but some wheel well trimming may be in order. If anyone has feedback, it would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

On my 88 4Runner, 30"s were all that would fit without rubbing and without a lift. That was with rims with less backspacing (3.75") than stock so can't say much since I don't know the backspacing on your new rims. But given I could only get a tall 30" wheel in without rubbing, a 31 might work with some mod to the fender and a 32 would require a body lift, at least (even if using BJ spacers, to keep the wheel from impacting the fender under full stuffed).

I've got 31's on my 89 4Runner with nothing more than helper springs in the back to get rid of the sag and I have plenty of room to put 32" or 33" tires on mine.
