My turbo pickup doesn't have the LCD...
I have a question. I can't find how to post a thread or anything so I'm hoping for the best. Okay, on the bottom of my bell housing there is a hole, I don't know if there is supposed to be a plug or what. I asked Autozone, they had no idea. My friends 86 non turbo doesn't have that but I know his is a different Tranny. PLEASE help me. It has been killing me!!!

Only the Turbo R151F transmission has that hole. There was originally a plug in it. I believe the Toyota part # is 31121-36060, but check with the dealer before ordering it. Unless you're worried about your pet rat climbing up in there you could just leave it open, or cover it with duct tape.
Also, if you want your pictures to show up on here, use the IMG code on Photobucket, not the HTML code.

this is a great thread. these turbos are awesome for their rareness, but also just because they have so many unique to turbo features. the dash and the seats are awesome.
but i noticed in this thread, or rather didn't notice, any of the hoods with the factory scoop. i thought all turbos had that. anyone know what model years had the scoop, or if it was an option? 4runner only, etc?
