how could i fix it to where when i turn my lights on they come on insde the truck

you have to do some digging behind the dash, and you can make them dim out and/or turn off with the adjustment in the cab 
in my 91 PU there's a BROWN wire that's in the strereo harness that is a GROUND, that is switched on with the interior lights, and dims with turning the knob on the dash
actually had this plug-in at the end:
