Last time I checked it was an old woman who I tried telling her that I bought a "used" transmission so there isn't going to be a vin #

She was a hot granny

i had 3 trucks w/that same issue...(some worse than others, ) and yours (by the photo) looks about average in the filth...(my 1st yoda/ 2wd had the ash tray filled, and what looked like never emptied, and the entire carpet was covered w/cigarette butts..no joke..it was a 400 dollar truck that drove, and i got a good truck, but it stunk, and was never ever cleaned)...compared to that, yours looks pretty nice.

1st, i would duct tape the window until you got a new seal, and cleaned the drainage passages (yes, i can leave mine open, and it will not leak).

then.
remove everything, and replace the heater core too...(it can smell like death, )..i sold a 2wd truck to a friend who smoked and needed a reliable truck..
i thought the smell was tobacco related, but he took one whiff and nearly puked..(i only smoked in grade school)...

so.
to fully clean (i used 99% alcohol, but bleach and water would be a good choice too..as i think a pressure washer may destroy some wires/ etc, and steam may be expensive), remove everything.. like this..

the heater core was the culprit on all 3 of my trucks (after cleaning didn't work as well). and now i have heat at 125 degrees at the vents...(so nice) and with a rubber matting for carpeting, i now also have that "new car smell" again...

total costs was about 200 for the rubber matting/ heater core acid bath, cleaning products..
total time- about 4 weekends of work...6 hours each saturday.

someone puked in my first truck and didnt clean it up very well right down the side of the passenger seat, damn those faulty window regulators
i used lots of bleach and simple green then painted it over with like 6 coats of rustoleum and it was all good
