i started the truck and its drippen fuel. i drove about 80 miles with a full tank and now its just about empty. my whole truck smells like fuel and this truck is givin me a headache. i took it in to the shop and they said its my fuel regulator thumper. im not sure what that is but its gonna cost 350 to fix it. any input on what it could be. i got a 3vze

 

Okay....first what vehicle/motor are you working on? And WTH is a fuel regulator thumper? You have a fuel pressure regulator....could that be what they mean?

 

well he said fuel regulator thumper but im thinkin its just the fuel regulator . btw i got an 3vze

 

Can you tell me where the part in question is located? If it is the FPR, $350 is way too much.
