Leaf spring identification

I have been wanting to find out if my 1986 toyota 4wd pickup has 1 ton or 1/2 ton springs. I had a 1987 4runner before, and it wasn't nearly as stiffly sprung as this one is. It will bounce the rear end off the ground when I go over bumpy sections of road, and it won't flex at all (it flexes out entering my driveway, and lifts the right rear tire off the ground). I am sure it needs shocks, but even with the shocks off, I cant get the rear springs to compress (by jumping on the bed). The springs look stock, with the stock rubber bump stops. I don't know if it has to do with the spring type, but it has green paint on the outer leafs under the shackles.

I will probably get some OME springs when I have the cash.

As for shocks, they look pretty bad (front ones are leaking, and all 4 look cheap). I think Rancho RS 5000s would work.
