so had a main leaf out of an 89 and went to put it in my 88 last night...axle pin didnt line up. had a buddy run me a whole new stack out of a 87 4runner with an add a leaf....axle pin did not line up. I have a main coming today out of a 79. anyone know if the pin will line up with my 88??????

 

Well, the 87 or 89 should've matched up, the 79 probably won't because the whole spring is shorter. Are you sure you still have stock springs on there right now?

 

i have no clue. the '89 was just a hair longer...not even sure it was a toyota leaf anyway, picked it out of my buddys acrap pile...lol
