lc engineering clutch quality
So, i did a search, cant find anything on the lc engineering clutch. Ive got to decide if i go with a oem clutch, or the lc engineering clutch.
money isent really a big deal,lc engineering has a clutch disk, pressure plate, t.o.b and Pilot bearing, new pressure plate bolts and OEM master and slave cylinder for 280 plus shipping and i found all oem toyota parts for 360 plus shipping.
id think oem is better, but im not sure, plus i might get the cool lc engineering sticker for free! Sweet!
Input please. Thanks joe

A lifetime warranty dont mean squat, a warranty is only as good as the box its on, lol quote from tommy boy, but i just like quality stuff when it comes to a truck i plan to keep for a long time, that and yeah i like to drive my truck and i plan on some motor mods that will require a good clutch.

I bought a $100 clutch kit once.
Guess what? It failed in less than 5k miles. Sure, I had a warranty - they would have given me a new one.
I could have gone through all that labor (again) or paid someone around $700 to install it for me...
Never buy an off brand clutch.
I 2nd the Marlin vote. Get an organic clutch with slightly more spring pressure than stock...

bad idea, unless your super tight on money and there is no possible way you can afford a better one. I have one of those $80 shucks clutches, it hasnt failed yet, but it doesnt grab very well and im not real sure how much longer it will last. sure it may have a nice warranty, but do you really want to drop the tranny again to replace it?

If I were going for a clutch I would get a factory one. Just because I've seen them last along time. But I also have put 70000 miles on the cheap $79 ones as well. When I put the 5 speed behind my diesel this summer I'll be going factory. And no one makes a clutch for my application.
