Ok 2 years ago we swapped the 22re in my truck for another used one from a junkyard....
We got everything put on and running, but since then the truck has been running rich with a cel, and I finally checked it recently to find a 52...knock sensor
Checked it out, and discovered the hole where the sensor should have been had nothing, and have no idea where the knock sensor wire is located...
Anyone know if this wire could be the correct one...really the only possibility I can find

did you get a knock sensor? install it and hook that wire up to it and see if it fixes your problem

 

Another thing... Someone on Pirate said that some 22re's from 2wd trucks did not come with knock sensors.
Is this true, because this motor came out of a 94 2wd and seems to have never had one..

I have a 91 22re and i dont believe it has a KS, Hopefully someone will awnser that.
