Kicking in rear brakes?

I got rear drums - is there anything other than tightening the drums (the little dial when you pull the cover off of) that you can do to make the rear drums do more work in stopping the vehicle? Does the LSPV come to play here? What if I have an extra leaf spring (as I do), would that have an affect on this valvle in it properly reading/adjusting the rear brakes, etc. ?

Are your drums within spec?

Since your asking this question.. I assume that your rear brakes feel like they are not working. Mine as welll.... found rear brake adjusters frozen up. Removed them.. put in vice.. sprayed w/wd40 and finally broke free. Still not adjustiong properly though....because my emergency brake cables are shot.... and work in conjuction w/rear brakes to adjust then. Good luck.

If the rear of your vehicle usually stands higher than stock ( or lower , for that matter ), you'll prolly need to readjust the LSPV.
