I'm sure if you saw a stock honda civic 4-door with a huge fart cannon you would think thats some stupid ricer with his stupid sounding civic... well you're that guy, you're just driving a old suv
lawl

that statement took some balls to post

I agree for the most part, but I think that a custom exhaust dosen't really just HAVE to be for performance. Some people just like to hear it. That doesn't mean that a cherry-bomb on the 22re will sound good; I know from experience that no muffler at all sounds like crap on them but to each his own I guess

I'm runing the PaceSetter cat-back kit along with their header on my 91 22re, and for the most part it's pretty mellow sounding, but if I'm digging into the throttle up an onramp or something, at about 2,500 RPMs, it's get's pretty loud, and close to annoying I'll admit, but during daily driving, it's sounds pretty good I think. I did the exhaust install just to get rid of my falling apart and badly leaking stock exhaust system anyhow; I was in no way shape or form looking for performance gains, but it did seem to help the low RPM torque a little; the truck feels like it's easier to get moving from a stand-still

Ah, sounds like you have experience in this field, yourself. The kid likes it, thats all that matters. Who in the 9 holy hells are you, to look down your nose at him, esp when he's spending his money and not yours? Since when did you become Mr. Perfection? Do we all have to run our mods by you to get your approval? I think not. If you do not like what some1 has done to their rig, do the smart thing, and don't post in his thread, just move on to the next thread.

And just to level the playing field, I bet your that guy, who sits on his porch in his boxers, and a wife beater, yelling at all the neighborhood kids to "get off my lawn!" and chase them down the street.

Doesnt take much balls when your sitting in the comfort of your home bitching at someone across the country.

In trusty's defense, i ran a cherry bomb when i was 16 on my 22r. It was loud and fun it made me happy so who cares if you look like a ricer to some people.

I dont know why you pricks feel the need to bitch people out because they have a different preference than you.

Wow. No more fighting. Let's just accept the fact that some people like cherry bombs and some dont. Maybe I should keep my trap shut in the future.

ha ha you guys are funny

you want more horse power swap to a larger/better motor

I personally like the sound of a 40series on a 22R I dont think a muffler/header setup is going to make or break your power band.

I wasn't aware I could run two headers on a 22R at once either though.
lol i had a flowmaster on a v8 before dumped under the cab with no cat and the drone almost killed me. it was loud but it echoed into your ears which got plugged and it gave me a huge headache. i can stand louder exhaust like straight pipe but not a flowmaster. it sounded sick tho. today i might try a fake flowmaster super 40 on the yota with a cat. i hope that it doesnt sound horrible, i hate the ricer sound.
