Just can't decide...
if 35/12s will fit on my truck or not. I have a 89 with a 4" suspension lift. I am running Soft 8s (15x8) with 4" backspacing. I bought 33s with the lift, but looking at it now, it looks like 35s will fit pretty easily. My truck basically stays on the street and I'm not willing to hack it up. I will pound the pinch weld if needed, but that's about it.
Sooo...will 35s fit with 4" of lift without rubbing??

Considering 31's will fit with slight rubbing w/out a lift, and 35's only add about 2" to the radius of the tire, it shouldn't rub with a 4" lift... but you're going 12" wide ... so you may rub at full lock ... but you've got 4" b/s so that may pull the wheel in a bit to help.
You may rub on the frame with that...
You are very likely to rub the rear if you load the back up and compress the springs enough though.
See if you can get the tire shop to mount two up front and have a look. A lot of shops will mount them if they're confident you're gonna buy if they don't rub. Discount Tire (I was on a budget) mounted my 31's up front (265/75r16 actually, before I did the suspension lift) to check if they would rub at full lock (which they didn't)... and even jumped up and down on the bumper to help check for rubbing

Yes, you'll be fine. I had to adjust the steering stops, but that was it. If you have 4" backspacing you'll be in better shap than I was with the 4.5" backspacing on my rims.
