What kind of wire should I use that has a heat resistant jacket so I can jerry rig a new wire onto the knock sensor? I know I know, buy a new one, but I'm broke and spent more than I should have on this head gasket job :/

 

buy a new one, $10-15 wire is worth it. do you really want to spend the extra time to take everything apart again when your homemade wire malfunctions?

 

just buy the new piece.
