I might disagree...

the procomp shocks that came with the fabtech lift kit I installed on my 91 xcab a couple years ago still work pretty well. Just enough dampening to keep it from feeling like it's a truck on hard springs (which it is sort of- uprated sway-away bars on the front and aal's in the rear). It doesn't jar you on rough roads at all- floats a bit off the top of subtle rises and settles right down without any bouncing, and this is still true after about 25k miles on them. I can throw my 220+ lbs on the front, trying to bounce it, and it goes down everytime I push and when I let go, it comes up then down once without a bounce.
I'm probably gonna be putting procomps on my 88 4runner soon because of my experience with the 91, and because the rancho's on the 4runner are too stiff on jounce (compression) and too soft on rebound.

I will say though that everyone's experience differs so your mileage may vary.

I've been wanting one of those ProComp light bars for a while; it would make it much easier to mount my lights that are mounted to my bumper right now; plus like you said, they just look bad ass too

after my suspention work I think I may have to get one

both mine were mangled from shipping and trying to get them straightened back out for mounting... and then mounting, i had to take the bumper off and in the process lost the nuts for the bumper ends...
but it was definately worth it... and they do look wicked...

91freerunner, does yours have the 6 light tabs? the 4 on the bottom bar and the 2 on top of the "hoop"?

ja... i put my 5.5inchers on top and im saving up for some 7 inch light forces for the middle, and i have my fogs mounted to the bottom...
also, did you just run the wires along the bar? i drilled mine and fished the wires thru... then siliconed the top to keep moisture out...
