It's been a while, 86 re-birth
Hey everyone, it has been a while since I have posted/been around, but it is good to see that it hasn't changed much!
After some time away from working on my '86 pickup, my brother and I thought it'd be nice to re-build her into a small trail rig. There isn't anything too crazy around here so we're not going to do too much, mostly get her back to where she was.
Where she was at her peak a few years ago:
Now:
Took 8" off the frame and threw on a new crossmember:
Start of the new flatdeck:
Stock wheels and 265 STTs from my Tacoma:
It's going to be a summer project, hoping to get her in shape before I go back to school in the fall.

The STT offers tons of grip and the E-rated will last a fair amount of time on the road, but the MTR kevlar's that I have on my Tacoma now are a lot better for all around driving/light offroading and I think they will outlast the STT.
