ISR Clarification

First thing, yes I did search for ISR & resonator.

Question 1: Someone correct me if I am wrong, as I understand it ISR and resonator removal are pretty much the same thing.

Question 2: What MPG effect does resonator removal have? Everything I saw in the threads talked about hp gains.

Thanks

Intake silencer removal will yield virtually no horsepower or MPG gains but will make your intake louder. Most people remove it when installing an aftermarket or custom intake.
