Did a little moving and cutting for a new trans cooler. Had to trim the latch and relocate whatever that sensor is for the ac. Unfortunatly i cant hook up the new cooler untill i get fittings for it. Ive also put an IMCO 2 1/2 in muffler. Had air issues at couger buttes with the trans. Loosing gear in the middle of a climb is no bueno........thinking of making a deep sump pan..or swaping it for god knows what.

 

It's actually recommended to overfill tranny by 1 or more qts to assist with steep angle climbing.

edit: recommended for auto tranny with attached vf1a chain drive case.

 

I should be over 1, its been a yr so probly time to change out the fluid anyway. I was using chevron dex 3 .was thinking of trying trick shift this time. Ill also mark my damn dipstick at 1 over this time.....

 

Really a year with no updates....Lame.

Not much to update in the year. Got used 33 mtr's and put them on some tundra steelies. Went to Los Cayotes Reservation, had a ball, also broke my first Cv on the trail. And then I did a whole lotta nothin. Did recently find out I need to do some kind of snorkel. sucked up a bunch of silt the other day into the intake on an un-maintaind road with some puddles I was not slowing down for.
