Will a Tacomas interior (dash, doot panels, etc.) Fit into an older model like a 94 or a 95?

 

Although I kinda doubt it, I was wondering about door panels myself

Anybody have an idea on this? Specifically will a 3rd generation 4runner door panel fit or be easily modded to fit a 2nd generation 4runner?

What I'm trying to do is fix up my ghetto-fabulous door speaker install on my 94 4runner. The looks I can live with, but I can't really seal it off from behind and I'm getting quite a bit of door vibration. Its dynamated around the speaker, but still alot of vibration. I've got A buddy that does upholstery work and can redo the door if I can do some cutting and make it work.

If that route doesn't work, do you think I could cut out the bottom of a 3rd gen 4runner door panel with the speaker pod and door pocket and somehow mount it to my old door panel...fiberglass it or whatever.

Any thoughts?

 

ive always wanted to swap in tacoma or 89-95 interior into my truck, but rarely ever see any tacomas in the junk yards, gotta get one being parted out i guess?
