intake manifold stuck to head 3VZ-E engine
i just bought my 89 runner. everything was all good until i needed to replace an exhaust valve and replace my gaskets. i've got all the bolts off that were holding it in(unless there is one hiding somewhere but i can not find it). it moved off the front two and the back left, but its stuck on one bolt. does anyone have any thoughts on how to get it off? any ideas are appreciated

There are 4 bolts down the middle of the intake, front to back, and two deep on either side of the throttle body. If you get all 6 off, the intake will come off.

Pop it with a rubber hammer if you've got all 6 bolts out; it should break loose. BE VERY CAREFUL TO REMOVE THE VACUUM HOSE GOING TO THE PLASTIC "TIT" IN THE BACK OR YOU'LL BREAK IT OFF!

Check and double check that you got all the bolts out. 6 doesn't sound right.
You also need to make sure all your hoses, and wiring is disconnected. Those things can be a maze to remove

i have the top of the manifold peeled back and off to the side
and there are 14 or 16 bolts that hold the bottom of the intake onto the heads, there are 4 leader bolts that go from the head up through the intake to guide it on, this is where the problem is, front two and back left guide bolts are loose but the last one is a rotten little........i'm doing all this with the engine in so accessibilty isn't exactly the easiest
