intake gaskets

well i got my truck running today after doing the heads its running relly rich and one of the cyclinders in not firing on the driver side it runs like my brother helped me with the heads and the intake he put the intake on backwards and i turned it around i was in a hurry do you think the intake gaskets could be on backwords causing this prolbum. i got in a rush and now im paying for it thats why you dont rush throught things

I think the only thing that would be off if you put the intake gaskets on backwards would be the coolant passages in the front and rear of the heads. I dont think the intake runners would be affected. Did you miss an injector plug maybe? With it running, pull plug wires off at the dist to see what cyl is affected. Dont use a metal object. lol

all the injectors plugs are fine all tight and conected and it was smoking on the driver side so idk what the prolbm is with it im gonaing to mess with it tomarrow at work and try to put my clutch in i pulled the plugs and they were gray they were not wet but they smelled of fuel. the truck was smacking when i get it running so the gaskets might of been leaking idk ill rip it apart tomarrow and find out.
