ok guys i got enough saved up to go buy an intake for my runner but i have purchased several before from k&n and they worked pretty good but i have seen some from downey and s&b just wondering if any are any better than the rest? they all seem about the same price or if one offers better parts or performance, thanks for the insite

search ISR mod; you can do it yourself for a lot cheaper than buying any kit, and I garantee you'll get the same results

Yea alot of people have done the ISR mod, including me. Search for a thread called "post your isr mod pics" or something like that. Mine ran me like $40 or so.

 

one of the easiest mods, especially for a 3.0, because you dont have to make brackets for the AFM.

I run a Spectre filter in my truck. I just wanted a cheap one, and didn't feel like paying the $40 extra for a K&N. Got all the stuff from PepBoys, ran up to about $60.
