So I purchased some LED lights for my 89 4X4 ext cab 3.0 DLX . and apparently someone has changed out the dash as there were a lot of screws missing holding the dash in. While changing out my dash lights I noticed several of the bulb holders were missing are they all supposed to be there? And can someone tell me what all of the lights are? Are they all used? Are they supposed to be empty? No bulb holder?


A list of instrument panel lights for these trucks would be of help.


I don't have the tach in my dash.

You will have some missing bulb holders. The cluster is set up for some options that yours may not have and is interchangeable between the 4runner and truck.

With the bulb holders out, shine a flashlight from behind the cluster and you will see what indicator is lit and if it applies to your truck.

I don't have my manual with me to see which bulbs are needed. I think there are 2 different sizes. Parts store should be able to look them up for you.
