I have been searching my truck up and down looking for what caused or is causing this problem. My problem is I turn the parking lights on, and nothing, no cluster lights or parking lights. Heres the kicker, my brake lights work fine, same for reverse, my bulbs in dash are good, the warning lights are lit when I turn the key one time. I have checked fuses, I found the relay it went off, and I have no idea on how to check to see if it works. I would appreciate any suggestions or helpful info.

 

check the dimmer switch. if its not hooked up or its faulty the dash lights wont work.

 

Dash lights wouldn't work, but the parking lights would.

Check obvious things first, fuses, connections, wiring.

 

It could be a bad ground....simplest fix, but usually the most overlooked problem...
