Injector rebuild kit? Or new injectors?

Just got finished rebuilding my 22re everything is basically squared away minus my fuel injectors. They are the stock ones with 234000 miles. Would it be smarter to purchase a rebuild kit and do it myself for around 30$ or buy new ones for around 200$? Do I have any other options?

Send them to them Have them rebuilt and flow tested .

If you could flow test them you would not have asked the question.

I am not sure the cost it has been a few years but I have had quite a few rebuilt

All a rebuild kit is is new o-rings and pindle caps. Doesn't do anything really.

Food for thought: I had my V6 injectors cleaned for $140 by a local guy with all the equipment and did a great job. However, had no impact whatsoever on the truck. I bought the Flamethrower injectors off Ebay for $120, better throttle response. Just saying.

FYI: the flamethrowers are now $190 for 6 and 170 for 4.

Witchhunters I believe was $25 (maybe $26) bucks each, plus shipping.

I sent mine to Witch Hunter and they had about 430K miles on them. You get a printout of how they flowed when he got them and after a cleaning plus new seals to install them.

They are still going strong and it didn't cost much. Got them back fast too.

I rebuilt my motor and did the same thing. Been looking at these injectors for a while.
