Thanks!! Naw I don't have a write up on this install! I really had to shave down a lot of the inclinometer to make it fit in there. It was hard making the sealant smooth looking but I tried the best I could. If you guys have questions let me know, I'll gladly help!

I like the CB placement. I think im going to get the Cobra CB that is comparable to size to that one too. Did you have to grind out the back of the ashtray compartment?

I like it down there where you put it.
Very clean install.
If you do a write-up on it, be sure to submit it to Moderator Bob, and look at the rules to submit in the Rules area.
Here is where I have mine, still in the factory overseas pod.

Where I have my Garmin eTrex is where I will be mounting my iPod Video.
It fits perfectly into it.
Then I will run the RCAs from it to my headunits CD changer inputs, and have some MP3s to play through the system at a later date.

I like the job you did, looks real sharp and neat in the DIN pocket. I just mounted one in my truck yesterday (dash mount) (almost flush on the dash). I had to modify the plastic a little to fit the left hand drive dash. I also drilled holes in the dash so I could use the original mounting bracket (bolted right in) and a 3rd hole for the backlight wire to go thru (no visible wires). I do have an unfair advantage - I was in Japan and selling these units all the time, so I have a great idea of exactly where to mount them since I was removing them all the time. I am Chaser_Tourer on ebay, heck you may have purchased one from me? I need to get some pics and a short description of the mod, it is not too hard really.
I hope to see more pics of other installs, hey maybe we can make this the official Hilux Surf Inclinometer install pics thread? These are the 2nd Gen inclinometers (someone asked in an earlier post).
