Hey, no sand in my v*****. And everyone's entitled to their opinion so no worries. I know that IFS vehicles probably aren't the best suited for your kind of wheeling. If I were to live back in AZ again where I could actually put my truck to more use, Id definately be looking into SAS.

On that note, your truck sounds pretty gnarly. Any links to pics?

she does what I need her to do, and I have all the fun I could want to have with it, and plus it makes things more challenging sometimes; but yeah, if it wasn't my DD too, I would SAS it

You also live in Florida where the biggest hill is a freeway on ramp, so yeah an SAS rig would be completely lame there.

So now that an IFS vs. SAS pissing match has come dangerously close to ruining yet ANOTHER thread, can we continue on with the IFS wheeling vids, or what?

This is of me and a few friends giving the Sleeping Princess trail a run earlier last year...

My passion is with difficult and technical trails, and I enjoy the freedom of not having to stress about body damage or breaking.

I look anxiously forward to said intense IFS wheeling videos. Perhaps I might have to change my jaded opinion.
LINK!

Whoo. If thats how you feel, you may not like it here, as you will be constantly annoyed and feel the need to bash us losers for attempting to drive on the dirt. The link above would fit you much more.

Since the internet is often taken out of context, I'll add that I'm not mad or pissed, just pointing out the obvious.

I do, however, have a metric ton of sand in my vagina.

I think we will. Been lots of angry people here before. They move on to more fun places.

And, good news is, there are lots of people to take seriously here, with big SAS trucks on large tires. So all is not lost

Back on track...

Not my rig, but two FJs impressively climbing Hells Gate at Moab.
The first rig belongs to Miss FJ.
It is stone stock right down to the factory tires.

I have seen vids of other rigs try to climb that and fail.
That is the same hill I believe that many have seen where a Jeep flips and rolls several times.

COJeff's slightly modified FJ.

Miss FJ's FJ did not stay stock for long though...

just cell phone vids of me n tyre (TFJ 4Runner) our messing around at a local wheeling spot. the vids are only 30 secs long so just go to the next one to continue the video.

What a difference open/open vs locked/locked makes.

The movie is AWESOME! I didn't know too much about the Baja 1000, but it gave me a HUGE respect for IFS rigs. These guys are offroading on the stuff that SA or IFS rigs normally take at 1-2mph - but they consistently are going over 100mph!! It shows how tough this sport really is, and all with IFS baby

TC is out of town at the moment.

I'm sure he'll chime in when he gets back.
