IFS wheeling videos (post them up)

Nope.. no sway bars at all. When my wheelin buddy helped me lift my truck, he told me, "I'll iron your skirt for you if you don't want to take your sway bar off,Greg." Haha.. so I took it off.
The rear one came off a while back when I put the e-locker in. Stock sway bar didn't fit over the new diff housing w/ motor.

Did removing the sway bars affect your on-road driving at all?

Well.. it's hard to tell because I also had 3 of my four shocks that were completely - and I mean 200% SHOT. So with the sway bar on and crapped out shocks, driving was horrible anyhow.
The day I took the sway bar off the front, I put 4 new shocks on. I was slightly more cautious while driving at first - plus, I had just lifted it 2.5" also. So I was taking corners much slower. This one road close by my house is a 50MPH zone and has a big downhill slope and also turns to the left very sharp. I was nervous there at first, but can still take the turn at 45-50 with no problems.
All in all, I very rarely; if ever, think about it while driving ON road.

its not like i think my ifs truck is a rockcrawler ( i have a 84 toy for that) but it does pretty good (rear locker w/ 33's) has a/c and i dont have to tow it around (diesel is $5.25 in my town) and IFS just do better in the sand/ jumping

Yeah.. after watching "Dust to Glory", I can't help but look at IFS rigs and those racers as some freakin awesome rigs.
Every kind of rig has its pros and cons... and SA rigs can crawl rocks like no other - but IFS has it's niche.

Understandable. I just witness a bunch of guys who are determined their IFS rigs are just as good as fully built rockcrawlers. Just like there are a bunch of fully built rigs who are determined they're just as capable as custom built buggys.

Am I the only one who thinks its nice to let people have fun with what they've got and not be a hater?
I'm happy with what I do. I don't need to get up the biggest rocks to have a good time, I like running trails. I can push myself on some harder stuff, and still have fun on the easier trails.

Oh god. Don't get sand in your v******. I'm not hating, it's just my opinion. I wouldn't drive a drag car on the street, and I wouldn’t wheel a daily driver. I understand tons of people do both every day, and kudos to them for at least getting out there. Simply put, it’s not my cup a tea.
My passion is with difficult and technical trails, and I enjoy the freedom of not having to stress about body damage or breaking.
I look anxiously forward to said intense IFS wheeling videos. Perhaps I might have to change my jaded opinion.
