Im no rock crawler junkie but i wheel my 88 runner with a 4 inch kit, dual shocks on each corner lock rite in the rear and 33's and it goes anywhere I want to go.. It could go beyond that but I dont want body damage... To say you simply CANT wheel IFS is an obsurd statement.. Please come down to my SHop and tell my some of my customers that.. You will get laughed at.. Is SAS better and more capable?? yes, but for the everyday wheeler enthusiast IFS will do most everything you want it to... Especially with built axles, gears and lockers...

Mike

Im nat bashing, but its apples and oranges... Saying you cant wheesl IFS is like Saying You cant drive a 3.0 VZ Because its not capable.....

Nope. Still maintain it can't be wheeled. Not possible. I know this to be true because the internet told me that I HAD to have a SAS. The internet knows all.

he's 100% right, I've been reduced to throwing mud at my truck and manually placing odd scratches in high up places on my 4runner

I think I need to do a SAS just so I can get out of my driveway when I don't feel like shoveling.

Perhaps its the two shocks that makes IFS wheeling possible? I will have to look into that.

Just for troy

And it is the 2 shocks, they also provide anti gravity.

Glad to hear it. Sometimes sarcasm can get lost quickly on the net. Good thing it wasn't

Anti grav you say? That just made the top of my "to-do" list.

That's gotta be it.

But the funny part is that he put a locker in an IFS truck! What would make somebody do something SO crazy?!?!?

The nice thing about the locker is that when you install one you have somewhere to lock up all your valubles..

I am interested in your anti-gravity theories and wish to subscribe to your news letter...is it possible to maintain it when at full flex?

Heres my extreme flex picture and why I need sas its all explained here:

So thats why I need sas. Just thought I would let everyone know I know what I am doing, I hate poser SAS people that sas their vehicles because they think they need it and they have never really flexed their sas to the extremes like I am showing in this picture.

that flex is intense, necro......i'd be much more careful if i were you. that tire looks like it's about to dominate on your ifs, you might think about an SAS....

This one of the more extreme IFS flex pics that ive seen... If youre going to be ddoing that kind of wheeling you really do need to consider an SAS.. It wont be long before you break something with that kind of action...

With that kind of flex you really need to consider full sized axles... I mean you really could use the exta width!!!! LOL
