IFS Sqeaking

I have a 93 pickup. It's lifted on a pair of 4Crawler 1.5" BJ spacers. Torsion bar tweak has it sitting at a nice 2.5". Sway bar removed. Diff drop kit installed.

Ive been getting an inconsistent squeaking in my front right wheel well. It seems to occur when the truck hits bumps that make the truck roll side to side. Getting out of the truck makes a good squeal as the truck shakes off my weight.

It comes and goes however. Some mornings it creaks and squeaks along bumpy New England back roads. Other mornings, it's fine. Sometimes splashing through a puddle or driving that wheel over a manhole cover or pothole can stop it...or trigger it.

It also adds a slight vibration to the pedals- most noticeably the brake pedal. When coming to a complete stop you can feel the vibration. Then as the noise raises back up after the braking ceases, a nice groan sounds.

With the weather and my work schedule, I've barely poked my head under there. This weekend I intend to tighten my bj spacer bolts and check my ball joint grease fittings.

- I do know it's not the shock absorber. It started a few months ago and I swapped the shocks I had for some new ones. The squeak is still present.

Does anyone have any good spitballs to throw my way? Hoping it's not my control arm bushings or torsion bar...but process of elimination is pushing me there...

Most likely control arm bushings.

I replaced my old rubber ones with poly years ago, and they squeaked and sqwuaked like nobody's business afterward. Last year I took them out, greased them, and installed zerks, which helped alot. But I still have a rouge bushing that squeaks and I can't seem to fix it.

My recommendation would be replace with a quality rubber bushing.
